Security Forces Eliminate Terrorist Associate in Jammu and Kashmir

In a significant development, security forces killed a terrorist associate linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) during a continuing operation in Bandipora district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday, April 25, 2025. The individual has been identified as Altaf Lalli.

Officials reported that intensified efforts by the police, Army, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have resulted in several encounters across both southern and northern regions of Kashmir in recent days. The operation leading to Lalli’s death is part of these ongoing security measures. Additionally, on the previous day, a hideout was uncovered in Kulgam, where security personnel detained numerous individuals suspected of being associates of local terror networks.

In related news, special teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have begun contacting witnesses, including tourists, who survived a recent attack by LeT terrorists in Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination in southern Kashmir.

This ongoing situation highlights the continued efforts of security forces to maintain peace and safety in the region.
