Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan may be teaming up for their fourth film together after successful collaborations in “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar,” and “Akele Hum Akele Tum.” Mansoor recently shared this exciting news while discussing his latest book, “One: The Story Of The Ultimate Myth,” which he hopes to adapt into a film.
In a conversation on the eve of Aamir’s birthday, Mansoor expressed optimism about their potential collaboration, saying, “Yes, there is a possibility. My approach to storytelling has evolved, and I respect the audience’s taste. I’ve written two books, with my second one being ‘One: The Story Of The Ultimate Myth,’ and I want to see it on screen. The challenge is turning it into a screenplay,” he explained.
He also mentioned, “Aamir appreciates the book, but we need to discuss it further. His attention has been scattered lately, and I need him fully engaged. I’ve already drafted a more cinematic version of the screenplay, but we had differing views. I’ve decided to focus entirely on this project starting in June, and I made it clear that if we can’t agree on the screenplay, I won’t move forward.”
Unfortunately, Mansoor had to miss Aamir’s 60th birthday celebration due to pressing commitments. He expressed his disappointment, especially since Aamir celebrated Mansoor’s recent birthday with his family. “It’s a shame to miss it, but I hope it’s not a lavish Bollywood affair,” he added.
Fans are eager to see if this promising partnership will materialize into another memorable film.
