Akshay Kumar, the well-known Bollywood actor, has recently sold his apartment in Borivali East, Mumbai, for a price of Rs. 4.35 crore. This sale was confirmed through property registration documents.
The transaction for the property was finalized in March 2025. The apartment is part of the Sky City development by Oberoi Realty, which is situated in a 25-acre area. Known for its abundance of greenery, Borivali is popular for its nearby attractions such as the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Kanheri Caves, and amusement parks including Water Kingdom and Essel World. Borivali East is particularly favored for its excellent connectivity and access to parks.
This particular apartment spans a carpet area of 1,073 sq. ft. and comes with two designated parking spaces. The transaction also involved a stamp duty payment of Rs. 26.1 lakh and registration fees of Rs. 30,000.
According to data from Square Yards, the Oberoi Sky City project has seen strong activity, with 208 sales recorded between March 2024 and February 2025, amounting to a total value of Rs. 818 crore. The average resale price in this project stands at Rs. 44,577 per sq. ft.
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar purchased this apartment in November 2017 for Rs. 2.37 crore, which means it has appreciated significantly, increasing by 84% in value since then. In another instance, he sold a different unit in the same building for Rs. 4.25 crore in January 2025.
Akshay Kumar has enjoyed a successful acting career for over thirty years and is recognized for his dedication and diverse roles.
