PVR INOX, the leading cinema chain in India, is set to launch a special film festival titled ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’. This event is dedicated to celebrating Aamir Khan’s significant contributions to Indian cinema. Movie lovers will have the chance to revisit the incredible journey of one of Bollywood’s most influential actors and filmmakers.

A press conference recently took place in Mumbai, where Aamir Khan was accompanied by renowned screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar, along with PVR founder Ajay Bijli. During this event, they revealed the festival’s trailer, building excitement among fans. The film festival will run from March 14, coinciding with Aamir Khan’s birthday, until March 27.

At the conference, Javed Akhtar shared his admiration for Aamir Khan, recalling how they first crossed paths. He said, “So many characters come to mind. Aamir and I both started our journeys in the industry in 1965. Aamir’s first film was actually written by me. My son also worked with Aamir in his first project.”

Aamir mentioned an interesting moment when he was waiting for a call from Javed after declining another project. He realized that not hearing from Javed meant that Farhan, the filmmaker, hadn’t discussed him with Javed as he had thought.

Javed Akhtar further highlighted Aamir’s unique talent for believing in unconventional roles and stories. He pointed out that Aamir took risks by working with new directors and accepting challenging roles, like in the movie “Dangal,” where he played an older man who competes in wrestling against his daughter.

The ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’ festival will be held at PVR INOX theaters across the country, allowing fans to enjoy some of Aamir Khan’s most memorable performances on the big screen. PVR INOX remains dedicated to providing quality entertainment to audiences throughout India.
