PM Modi’s Upcoming Visit to Paris: Excitement Among the Indian Community

As Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Paris draws near, the bond between India and France continues to strengthen, opening up new avenues for the Indian community living in France. Members of the Indian diaspora are buzzing with anticipation for his arrival.

Joginder Kumar, a resident of France for 45 years, expressed his excitement, stating, “We are here to welcome Modi ji and will wait at the hotel to greet him. It’s always thrilling to see him in person.”

Another diaspora member shared, “I live with my family here, and my granddaughter is particularly eager to meet Mr. Modi. Our entire family is looking forward to his visit.”

Reflecting on the transformation since 2014, a local woman noted, “Things have definitely improved, especially in our ties with France. We feel connected to both nations, and it feels like a new beginning for us.”

An individual who has resided in France since 1986 said, “I work in government services, and our community is thrilled about Modi ji’s visit. This is a significant moment for both India and France.”

A French national remarked on the evolving relationship between the two countries: “In the past seven years, our connection has grown stronger. I’ve been to India five times, and the experience is always enriching. Every day, our relations improve.”

A young man from the Indian community echoed this sentiment, saying, “It’s a real honor to welcome Modi ji. He’s making significant strides in India, especially in AI. The collaboration between India and France looks very promising, and we are hopeful it continues.”

He added, “Modi ji always keeps his commitments. A new consulate is being set up in Marseille, which will provide students with more opportunities to stay and integrate. It’s beneficial for both nations.”

Another community member highlighted the shared principles of India and France, stating, “Both countries have a multi-polar approach. We don’t just follow major powers; we create our own path. It’s important to focus on independence and empower the Indian diaspora.”

All eyes are on Prime Minister Modi’s visit to France, which promises to be an exciting event. He will co-chair the AI Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron on February 10-11, where discussions will center on AI innovation and its global governance. The summit aims to host over 100 countries and key experts, marking a pivotal moment for India in shaping the future of AI.
