Sooraj Pancholi is set to take on a significant role in his first biopic titled Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath, where he portrays the brave warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil. This historical action film promises numerous thrilling sequences, but it seems that the excitement came with some risks on set, as reports indicate that Pancholi sustained injuries during filming.

According to insiders, the actor was injured while performing a critical stunt in Film City, Mumbai. During an action scene, Sooraj was required to jump over an explosion created by pyrotechnics. Unfortunately, the explosion occurred earlier than planned, and he was caught in the blast, resulting in severe burns to his thighs and hamstrings due to the intense gunpowder used.

Despite the severity of his injuries, a medical team was present on set to assist him. Remarkably, Sooraj refused to step back and continued filming for the entire schedule, demonstrating his dedication to the project and craft.

The incident not only showcases Sooraj Pancholi’s courage but also his deep commitment to his role. The film itself portrays a significant historical conflict that took place at the iconic Somnath temple in Gujarat. Through this film, directed by Prince Dhiman, Pancholi aims to reveal a new dimension of his acting abilities, proving he can tackle tough and challenging roles.

In Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath, he will be joined by notable actors including Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma. Reports suggest Vivek Oberoi will play an antagonist, while Suniel Shetty’s character will work to protect the temple. The announcement of this film has stirred excitement among fans, making them eager to see what unfolds on screen.
