Saif Ali Khan Case Update: Fingerprint Evidence Under Investigation

The case surrounding Saif Ali Khan continues to evolve, with new information emerging. Recent reports indicate a potential discrepancy between the fingerprint samples collected from Khan’s residence in Mumbai and those of the suspect. To recap, shortly after an incident on January 16, police apprehended a man named Sharif Muhammad, a Bangladeshi national, in connection with the case. The investigation is still ongoing, and officials from both the Mumbai Police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have stated that they haven’t yet received matching reports on the fingerprints.

In an interview, Deputy Commissioner Dikshit Gedam confirmed that they are still waiting for the fingerprint department to complete their analysis and submit the report to the Bandra police. Meanwhile, an anonymous source from the CID corroborated this, indicating that the report has not been sent to the police yet. Some officers have expressed concern that speculation about a fingerprint mismatch may be premature, as the investigation is still in progress.

Adding to the developments, Saif Ali Khan and his housekeeper, Elyimma Philips, have been listed as crucial witnesses in the ongoing investigation. Philips recounted a frightening experience during the early hours of January 16 when she encountered an intruder while walking near a bathroom in the apartment. She called for help, but the intruder attempted to silence her by attacking her with a knife. Hearing her cries, Khan quickly intervened to protect his staff but suffered several injuries in the altercation, requiring immediate surgery at Lilavati Hospital in Bandra.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities continue to gather evidence to piece together what happened during the incident. Further updates are expected as more information comes to light.
