Kartik Aaryan is having an exciting start to 2024. He recently starred in the well-received film Chandu Champion, where he portrayed the inspiring Paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar. Following that, he appeared in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy that went head-to-head with the major film Singham Again. Surprisingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 came out on top, particularly impressing audiences with Kartik’s stunning transformation in the film’s climax.
In a new development, Kartik Aaryan is set to host the highly anticipated IIFA Awards in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This event marks the 25th edition of the awards, making it a significant milestone. Organizers are thrilled to have Kartik on board, believing his strong appeal to fans and great sense of humor will add to the celebrations of this silver jubilee.
According to a source, Kartik is excited about the opportunity, especially since Jaipur holds a special memory for him. He filmed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the city and even launched the trailer for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the famous Raj Mandir Cinema there.
This isn’t Kartik’s first time hosting the IIFA Awards; he previously led the show in 2018 in Bangkok. Following the tradition, a press conference will be held in Mumbai to officially announce his role in the upcoming awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in Jaipur from March 7 to 9.
Looking ahead to his film career, Kartik will not release any movies in 2025. His next project is Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, set to launch in 2026. This film will be particularly special as it marks his first collaboration with producer Karan Johar, and it will be directed by Sameer Vidwans, known for Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023).
