At the recent trailer launch of the film Deva, actor Shahid Kapoor shared his heartfelt thoughts regarding the unfortunate incident involving Saif Ali Khan. He expressed his sadness over the attack that took place at Saif’s home in Bandra, saying, "It’s a very sad incident. We all are concerned in the fraternity. We hope that his health is better and he’s feeling better."
Shahid highlighted the shock felt among the film community following the news. He remarked, “We were all very shocked when we learned that something like this happened to him in such a personal space. It’s hard to process, especially in a city like Mumbai, which is usually considered safe. We hope the authorities are doing their best to ensure safety. This is not something we expect to happen here, where people often feel secure even at late hours.”
The incident occurred early Thursday morning when an intruder allegedly attempted to rob Saif’s house and ended up stabbing him six times. Thankfully, after undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital, he is now reported to be out of danger. Doctors successfully removed a knife fragment from his spine. Fans and fellow industry members are rallying together to wish Saif a speedy recovery.
