After a recent shooting incident outside his home, Salman Khan, the well-known Bollywood star, has taken significant steps to enhance the security around his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Approximately eight months after the frightening event, Salman has installed bulletproof glass on the windows of his home. This decision follows the tragic murder of Baba Siddiqui, a prominent politician who had a close relationship with Salman and his family.
In addition to the bulletproof glass, Salman has made upgrades to the security features surrounding his apartment. Reports indicate that a sophisticated CCTV system has been set up to monitor the area, helping to identify any unusual activities and prevent any future threats.
Salman has faced ongoing threats over the past few years, which have intensified recently. There have even been anonymous letters sent to his father, Salim Khan. The actor’s residence was specifically targeted in April when two assailants on motorcycles fired shots at the property. Fortunately, no one was hurt in that incident; however, it prompted an increased police presence for Salman, with the Chief Minister assuring the family of their safety. Consequently, Salman has also sought a license to carry a weapon to further protect his loved ones.
The threats against Salman are reportedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been targeting him since Salman was entangled in a high-profile blackbuck poaching case. Recently, Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol, was detained in the United States concerning the ongoing investigation into Baba Siddiqui’s murder, further complicating the situation.
As Salman continues to navigate these challenges, the upgrades to his home reflect his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of himself and his family.
