AP Dhillon, who is currently touring India, made some unexpected comments during a concert in Chandigarh. He thanked fellow singer Diljit Dosanjh for giving him recognition but also expressed a desire to resolve an ongoing issue. In a playful jab, Dhillon said, “First unblock me on Instagram and then we can talk.” He added, “I’ve been working hard for three years and haven’t been caught in any controversies.”
Diljit had previously acknowledged both Dhillon and Karan Aujla at his concert in Indore, wishing them luck as they embarked on their own tour. He had said, “Two of my brothers, Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, have started their tour; best of luck to them as well.”
In response to Dhillon’s remarks, Diljit took to his Instagram Stories to address the situation. He shared a screenshot showing that he had not blocked Dhillon and added, “I never blocked you. My issues might be with the government, not with artists.”
During his Indore performance, Diljit also emphasized the significance of unity within the independent music community. He mentioned, “The time for independent music has begun. Challenges will come, especially during a revolution, but we will keep working hard.”
Diljit’s Dil-Luminati India Tour began on October 26 in New Delhi and is set to wrap up on December 29 in Guwahati, with his recent performance in Mumbai on December 19. At the same time, AP Dhillon’s tour continues to capture attention, reflecting the growing independent music scene in the country.
