Ajay Devgn is set to return to the big screen as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the highly anticipated sequel, Raid 2. After the success of the first film in 2018, this next chapter promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The film is directed by Rajkumar Gupta and is being produced by a team including Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishna Kumar. Mark your calendars as it is scheduled to hit theaters on February 21, 2025.

In addition to Ajay Devgn, Raid 2 will feature Vaani Kapoor as the female lead. The film also stars Ritesh Deshmukh as the villain and Rajat Kapoor in a significant role. With filming taking place in Delhi and Lucknow, fans can expect another gripping storyline.

The original Raid was inspired by a real-life income tax raid that took place in the 1980s, which is noted as the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights.

Originally set to release on November 15 of this year, Raid 2 has been rescheduled and will now premiere in early 2025. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and his team, with T-Series presenting it as a production by Panorama Studios.

Stay tuned for more updates about this exciting project and other upcoming films!
