Sonu Sood has shared his heartfelt condolences following the tragic death of a young boy in a road accident in Mumbai. In a recent post on social media, Sood expressed his sadness and highlighted the critical need for improved safety measures to prevent such accidents in the future. He particularly pointed out the dangers posed by water-filled roads and called for action to address this issue.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Sood wrote, “I feel so sad to hear about a young boy who lost his life when his car crashed into a road divider in Mumbai. If our country uses WATER-FILLED ROAD CRASH BARRIERS on every road divider, we can save millions of lives. It should be mandatory for every road contract. Jai Hind.”

This tragic incident comes as the Government of India aims to reduce road fatalities and injuries by 50% by 2030, following the Stockholm Declaration. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is implementing a comprehensive strategy known as the 4E’s: Education, Engineering, Enforcement, and Emergency Care. Ongoing initiatives and regular safety notifications are part of their efforts to enhance road safety.

On a different note, Sonu Sood is set to star alongside Jacqueline Fernandez in the upcoming film Fateh, which will be released on January 10, 2025. Jacqueline recently shared promotional posters of the film on social media, expressing excitement for the release and sharing birthday wishes for Sonu.

The teaser for Fateh has also been unveiled, providing fans with a glimpse into the thrilling story focused on cybercrime. The tagline, “Never Underestimate A Nobody,” resonates with Sonu’s own journey and sparks curiosity about the film’s narrative. Sonu promoted the teaser on Instagram, encouraging fans to get ready for what promises to be a thrilling ride.

Directed by Vaibhav Misra, Fateh features Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, along with Vijay Raaz and Shivjyoti Rajput. The film aims to highlight top-notch talent, including expert filmmakers and choreographers from Hollywood, although many details about the project remain under wraps, adding to the excitement surrounding its release.
