Shah Rukh Khan is making headlines again! After a successful year in 2023, the superstar is set to make his return to cinemas in 2026 with an exciting new project titled “King.” Originally, the film was supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, but it has now been handed over to Siddharth Anand.

Recent updates reveal that Siddharth Anand is currently refining the script to ensure it meets his directorial vision. A source close to the project mentioned, “Siddharth and Shah Rukh previously collaborated on ‘Pathaan,’ and they aim to elevate the standards that were set by that film with ‘King.’ He wants everything to be just right before they start filming.”

Due to extended pre-production efforts, the shooting of “King” has been delayed and is now scheduled to start in June instead of March. The filming will take place in India and Europe, with Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix involved in creating a magnificent cinematic experience. The film is expected to hit theaters by the end of 2026.

Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, “King” will also feature Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in significant roles. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on this ambitious project!
