According to a report, plans are in the works to safeguard TikTok by having Oracle and a consortium of investors, including Microsoft, take control of the app. This strategy aims to keep TikTok operational in the U.S. while allowing ByteDance, TikTok’s Chinese parent company, to maintain a minority share.
Sources indicate that a discussion between White House officials and Oracle executives took place this past Friday, and another meeting is on the calendar for next week.
