Actor and entrepreneur Kunal Kapoor has launched a unique collection of bomber jackets inspired by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He recently showcased these designs on social media, asking fans to vote for their favorite three, which will go into production.
Kunal expressed his vision behind the initiative, emphasizing the importance of integrating renowned institutions like ISRO into popular culture instead of confining them to academic discussions or scientific news. He collaborated with the brand A47 to create these jackets and encouraged his followers to participate in the selection process.
The collection consists of six distinctive designs, each reflecting ISRO’s identity in various styles and colors. The options are the ISRO Beige Gaganyaan Jacket, Blueprint Grey Jacket, Blueprint Navy Blue Jacket, ISRO Bomber Jacket, ISRO Light Jacket, and ISRO Sports Style Navy Blue Jacket. This interactive approach not only allows people to have a say in which designs are produced but also creates a connection with the collection before it hits the market.
ISRO has played a crucial role in India’s achievements in space exploration, captivating audiences of all ages. Kunal’s project aims to meld this scientific heritage with everyday fashion, making it more accessible to all.
Aside from his acting career, Kunal Kapoor has ventured into entrepreneurship with projects like Ketto and MetaGo Health, showcasing his versatility beyond the film industry. He is also set to appear in upcoming films like “Ramayana 2” and “Lambodhara 2.0,” although details about these projects have yet to be disclosed.
This innovative collection highlights Kunal’s dedication to blending fashion with cultural significance, bringing a piece of India’s scientific achievements into the realm of everyday attire.
