Gravel Worlds 2026: The Bikes Ready for Battle

As the much-anticipated Gravel Worlds event approaches, professional cyclists are eager and well-prepared to face the grueling 150-mile race, where a prize pool of $150,000 awaits the winners. The stakes are high, and every detail matters, especially when it comes to their equipment.

Spotlight on Pro Bikes

Here’s a glimpse of the standout bikes that will be competing during this thrilling challenge.

Cam Jones: Scott Prototype

Cam Jones is back with his unique 32-inch wheels, which he tested earlier this year at Unbound. For this race, he’s upgraded to deeper-rimmed wheels fitted with 50mm Schwalbe G1RS tires. Jones has equipped his bike with Shimano Dura Ace hoods and brakes and an XTR rear derailleur. The 48-tooth Wolftooth chainring will give him extra power on those larger wheels, and he plans to carry as much water as he can.

Geerike Schreurs: Specialized Crux 5

After finishing as the runner-up last year, Geerike Schreurs is determined to climb higher on the podium this time. Her bike features aero Roval wheels paired with Pathfinder tires, and she depends on SRAM Red XPLR AXS components. Schreurs rides with a Specialized S-Works Power Mirror saddle, showcasing her commitment to comfort and speed.

Hannah Shell: Cervélo Aspero

Hannah Shell is armed with a Cervélo Aspero for the race. This bike incorporates a Shimano drivetrain and has a 1x setup. Shell’s bike is equipped with Hunt prototype wheels and features Pirelli RH tires. She has chosen a Bontrager aeolus airloom saddle for comfort during the long ride.

Marc Spratt & Nathan Spratt: Ventum GS1

Both Marc and Nathan Spratt are riding the Ventum GS1. They share similar setups with SRAM groupsets and ENVE wheels, designed to provide speed and efficiency on the gravel. Their bikes include notable features like significant wheel depth and high-pressure tires to tackle the challenging terrain.

Dylan Johnson: Felt Breed

Dylan Johnson is riding a Felt Breed, known for its versatility in rugged conditions. Johnson’s bike comes with SRAM components and features 60mm depth wheels, ensuring he has the support needed for the race. The bike’s design reflects Johnson’s strategy of adaptability and performance.

As the Gravel Worlds event unfolds, it promises to be a thrilling showcase of skill, strategy, and technology, with top cyclists pushing their limits on these impressive machines. Keep an eye on these participants as they aim for victory on the challenging gravel roads ahead.
