Eightpoint Technologies Ltd., a key player in the Cayman Islands business scene, is taking significant steps to upgrade its offices as part of a long-term plan. The company is working with Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) to modernize its workspace at Signal House, a central hub for many businesses in the area.
Since opening its doors in 2018, Eightpoint Technologies has been a notable presence in CEC, moving into Signal House when it launched in 2024. This flagship building spans 40,000 square feet and is home to over 450 companies. The current renovation aims to improve and reconfigure Eightpoint’s space, demonstrating the company’s intention to stay in the Cayman Islands for years to come.
Headquartered in George Town, Eightpoint Technologies is led by UK citizen Thomas Redford, who serves as President. Most of the board members are also from the UK and the U.S. “We joined the zone in 2018 and moved into Signal House right away, so this is our second office setup here,” Redford stated. “We are investing in these offices because our leadership and team are based in Grand Cayman, and we are committed to being here long-term.”
Eightpoint Technologies benefits from the stability and professional services available in Grand Cayman, as well as strong connections to the international market. The company also collaborates closely with its sister company, Eightpoint Interactive, Inc., which operates out of Fort Myers, Florida. Unlike Eightpoint Technologies, which has a diverse team globally, Eightpoint Interactive’s management team is entirely made up of U.S. citizens.
Deniz Gezgin, CEO of Eightpoint Interactive, expressed his delight at Eightpoint Technologies’ ongoing investment in Cayman. “Reaching eight years in Cayman Enterprise City is a significant milestone,” he remarked. “Grand Cayman has developed into a true technology hub, and it’s wonderful to see Eightpoint Technologies continue to invest here.”
