Anthropic Extends Claude Fable 5 Promotional Offer
Anthropic has announced that the promotional offer for Claude Fable 5 has been extended yet again. While the initial end date was set for July 12, the company is now allowing free access until July 19, 2026.
During this promotional period, users can enjoy up to 50% of their weekly subscription limits on Claude Fable 5 without any additional charges. Anthropic clarified, “We’ve extended this promotion through July 19, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM PT. The 50% increase to weekly usage limits will also be available until the same time.”
The free access to Claude Fable 5 is applicable for Pro, Max, Team, and premium seats on seat-based Enterprise plans.
How to Access Claude Fable 5
Users can access Claude Fable 5 through various platforms, including:
- Claude on the web
- Claude Mobile
- Claude Desktop
- Claude Cowork
- Claude Code
- Claude Design
- Claude for Microsoft 365
- Claude for Teams
- Claude Tag
To start using Fable 5 on Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, or Claude Mobile, simply select “Fable 5” from the model picker. Note that Fable 5 requires Claude Code version 2.1.170 or later and needs the latest version for Claude Cowork.
When You Reach Your Fable 5 Weekly Limit
If you hit your 50% weekly limit on Fable 5, you have two options for the rest of the promotional period:
- Utilize usage credits to continue using Claude Fable 5. These credits allow you to pay for extra usage beyond what’s included in your plan—billed separately from your subscription.
- Switch to another Claude model to remain within your remaining plan limits.
These options are consistent across all platforms, including Claude on the web, Claude Mobile, Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork, and Claude Code. Users can find more information on using credits for additional access.
