BJP Criticizes Opposition Over CJI Letter

New Delhi: On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) condemned the opposition parties for their letter to Chief Justice Surya Kant regarding the Supreme Court’s Interim Relief (SIR). They labeled it a “dangerous conspiracy” aimed at undermining Indian democracy and creating chaos by targeting key institutions.

BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi took specific aim at the Congress party, claiming that their tone and wording in the letter echoed tactics used during the Emergency period. He stated, “This is just another failed attempt to attack democracy.”

Trivedi further pointed out that the opposition did not provide a solid argument in court related to the ongoing issues. He accused them of raising doubts simply because their aspirations to gain power are fading.
