“Welcome To The Jungle” Debuts with a Heartfelt Mission
The highly anticipated film Welcome To The Jungle has hit theaters and is drawing in a positive response from audiences. Many expect the movie to do well at the box office. Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, the film’s producer and the mind behind the ‘Family Universe Movies’ concept, shared that part of the film’s earnings will go toward supporting noble causes.
Nadiadwallah explained that he sees “Corporate Social Responsibility” in a broader sense, referring to it as “Citizens Social Responsibility.” He emphasized that everyone has a duty to help one another, regardless of background or beliefs, and to contribute to a better world.
“I’ve decided to donate a portion of the earnings from Welcome To The Jungle and my future films to support the widows of our brave armed forces,” he stated. The funds will be directed to the Indian Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) and other similar groups dedicated to uplifting underprivileged women and orphaned girls.
Interestingly, Welcome To The Jungle features characters who initially pose as army officers while making a film, only to find themselves genuinely helping their country.
The producer also called on fellow filmmakers worldwide to join his efforts by donating a share of their profits to NGOs focusing on widows and orphaned girls. He believes that when a movie resonates with diverse audiences, contributing part of its revenue to a good cause can bring blessings to everyone involved.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle boasts a talented cast, including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, and many more.
This initiative adds a meaningful element to the film’s launch, showcasing a commitment to social responsibility along with its entertainment value.
