Sales Surge at New Hampshire Soccer Store During World Cup
MANCHESTER, N.H. — As the excitement of the World Cup unfolds across North America, a local shop in New Hampshire is enjoying a significant increase in sales. Suley’s Soccer Center, located in Manchester, is witnessing a remarkable 50% rise in business this month.
Even though no matches are taking place in New Hampshire, soccer fans are flocking to the store to grab their favorite gear and memorabilia. Customers are particularly interested in items like stickers and team jerseys.
“Mainly, it’s jerseys and stickers that are in high demand. However, when shoppers see our selection of cleats, shin guards, and soccer balls, they often decide to buy those as well,” said Baran Doenmez of Suley’s Soccer Center. “We just sold our last Scotland jersey, and we’re working on getting more stock.”
The store opened shortly after the last World Cup held in North America, and employees are optimistic that the upcoming 2026 World Cup will further spark interest in soccer throughout the state.
