Ronit Roy Issues Warning About Online Impostor

Actor Ronit Roy has recently taken to social media to warn his fans about an impostor using his name online. This person has allegedly been contacting women, asking for money and attempting to take bookings in his name.

In his post, Ronit shared details of the scam, including the fake phone number and email address being used by the impersonator. He wrote: “WARNING!!! I have been informed that someone is pretending to be me and reaching out to people, especially women, for money. The number involved is Zangi 3318085685 and the email used is ronitroybookings@hotmail.com. Please be careful. As for that person… the cops are coming for you.”

He emphasized that neither he nor his official representatives would ever reach out to people for money or personal requests. Ronit urged caution, saying, “I will never contact women on social networks or anywhere else. I would never ask anyone for money. If you see someone like that, please let me know immediately.”

Along with his warning, Ronit posted screenshots showing the fraudulent interactions, which included images of the phone number and messages exchanged by the scammer.

He concluded his post by reminding everyone to stay alert against such scams that exploit celebrity identities. Ronit stated, “Be very careful of people impersonating celebrities to take advantage of others. If you come across such situations, it’s a good idea to inform the celebrity.”

With online scams becoming more frequent, Ronit Roy’s message is a vital reminder for social media users to carefully verify identities before engaging with anyone, particularly when it involves financial transactions.
