TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei announced on Wednesday that Iran has received a new proposal from the United States and is currently reviewing it. This development comes as Pakistan’s interior minister visits Tehran to help facilitate communication.

Baqaei stated during an interview with state television, “We have received the American side’s viewpoints and are in the process of examining them. The visit from Pakistan’s interior minister aims to assist in exchanging messages.”

He also emphasized Iran’s ongoing demands in the negotiations to conclude the conflict, which include the release of Iranian assets that are currently frozen overseas and the lifting of the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports.
