The toffee, called Melody, caught everyone’s attention when PM Modi handed a packet to Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, before an important diplomatic meeting. A clip of this sweet moment quickly went viral online.
Later in the day, Parle Products, the company behind Melody, expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for showcasing the candy on such a grand stage.
