UAE and India Enhance Digital Cooperation with AI Supercomputer Initiative

Abu Dhabi, UAE — May 15, 2026
In a significant move towards strengthening ties in technology and innovation, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have reaffirmed their commitment to the digital infrastructure agreement signed between their nations in 2024. This partnership aims to bring one of India’s most powerful AI supercomputing clusters to life.

G42, a technology group based in Abu Dhabi, partnered with the Government of India to establish the Condor Galaxy India. This state-of-the-art computing cluster features 64 Cerebras CS-3 systems and possesses a processing capacity of 8 exaflops, making it one of the largest AI supercomputers in India.

During Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Abu Dhabi, a formal agreement was reached between G42 and India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). This marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing strategic partnership between the UAE and India.

Mansoor Al Mansoori, CEO of G42 International, expressed his vision for the project, stating, “India is a hub of innovation. This AI initiative will translate our technological capabilities into real change, supporting the development of a powerful national intelligence infrastructure.”

The Condor Galaxy India supercomputer is expected to facilitate collaborative research and development across various sectors, including health, energy, and environmental studies. It will empower researchers from both nations to tackle some of today’s most pressing issues.

The AI technology powering this initiative, the Cerebras CS-3 systems, is a groundbreaking advancement in computing. Cerebras recently made waves in the market by going public on the Nasdaq, indicating robust investor confidence in AI infrastructure.

This deployment of advanced technology not only signifies a strong alliance between G42 and Cerebras but also expands their reach into one of the world’s most important emerging markets.
