After a day filled with missed catches and mistakes, Rinku’s brilliant fielding was a breath of fresh air. He took five crucial catches, four in regular play and one in the nail-biting Super Over, which played a big part in his team’s victory.

“Honestly, I wasn’t ready for that catch. I thought the ball was going elsewhere, but it came to me just in time,” Rinku explained later, reflecting on that critical moment. His quick thinking and readiness turned the game in KKR’s favor.
Once Powell was out, LSG struggled to find their footing and ended the Super Over with just one run—making it the lowest Super Over score in IPL history. This left KKR with the task of needing only a single run to win.
A Well-Rounded Performance
