ATU Students Showcase Their Skills at Agriculture and Tourism Event

On April 23, Arkansas Tech University (ATU) hosted its annual Agriculture and Tourism Showcase Day, offering students a platform to present their research and skills.

The event took place at the Arkansas Tech Farm and featured various activities, including oral presentations from students enrolled in the Agriculture Marketing and Principles of Agribusiness Management courses. Students with specializations in hospitality administration, horticulture, and meat science showcased their expertise through hands-on demonstrations.

Additionally, students from the Soil, Water, and Forest Conservation course, the Team and Organizational Leadership course, and the Seminar in Agriculture Business course displayed their research in poster presentations.

The event wasn’t just for current students; prospective students were also invited to explore educational opportunities in agriculture and tourism at ATU. Faculty and staff were present to share insights and answer questions.

For those interested in the agriculture program, additional information can be found on ATU’s official website. Similarly, details about the tourism program are available online.
