India Expresses Concern Over Rising Attacks on Energy Infrastructure in the Gulf
On Thursday, India strongly condemned the increasing number of attacks on energy facilities in the Gulf region, as tensions in West Asia continue to rise. This response follows Iran’s retaliatory strikes on energy sites in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, which came after an Israeli strike on the South Pars gas field.
In an official statement, India stressed the importance of protecting civilian infrastructure, including energy resources. The Ministry of External Affairs expressed deep concern over the latest attacks, stating that they further complicate an already fragile energy situation worldwide. The statement emphasized that such actions are unacceptable and must come to an end.
