Experience the Thrill of a Championship-Winning Formula One Car

For many, witnessing a Formula One car up close is a rare treat. Seeing a championship-winning model like the Red Bull RB8 adds a whole new level of excitement.

The Red Bull RB8 made a stunning appearance at the Red Bull Moto Jam India 2026 at Greater Noida’s Expo Centre. From the moment it arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just any car event; it was something special.

A Legendary Machine

The RB8 may be over ten years old, but it still holds its ground among the modern cars of today. In the fast-paced world of Formula One, where cars are updated almost every season, the RB8 is considered ancient. Yet, it carries a remarkable presence.

This impressive car was driven by none other than Sebastian Vettel, who won the Indian Grand Prix with it in both 2012 and 2013. Although it sported new Racing Bulls colors this time, its essence as a powerhouse of the sport remained untouched.

Seeing the car up close, its size is striking—remarkably low and narrow. Even from a distance, it looks almost impossible to move, but when it roars to life, everything changes.

The Roar of Power

If you weren’t wearing ear protection, the sound of the car’s engine at full throttle was overwhelming. This deafening noise doesn’t just fill the air; it pulses through you.

At the wheel was Arvid Lindblad, an 18-year-old driver who is fresh on the Formula One scene. Watching him navigate such a fierce machine was captivating.

As Lindblad maneuvered the car around the Expo Centre, the tires heated up visibly—an exciting sight for anyone familiar with the challenges of managing tire wear in racing. This vivid display makes it clear just how much power the car generates.

Even in moments where the car seemed to be spinning out, Lindblad was far from pushing it to its full limits. This characteristic of the RB8 is hard to describe; it feels like a beast ready to break free, even under gentle handling.

To put its power into perspective: a regular Maruti Swift offers about 90 horsepower. The RB8, on the other hand, produces a staggering 850 horsepower—equivalent to about ten Swifts, all packed into a car that weighs just 640 kg.

An Unforgettable Experience

The RB8 is not just a car; it’s a technical marvel and a showcase of engineering. You can’t truly appreciate it from a screen or a dealership. You have to be there in the moment when it starts up, feeling the shift in the air and the raw power unleashed just a few meters away.

That day in Greater Noida was memorable for everyone fortunate enough to witness it firsthand. The experience of the Red Bull RB8 will surely linger in their minds for a long time to come.
