US TV Anchor Offers Reward for Missing Mother’s Safe Return

WASHINGTON — Savannah Guthrie, a well-known television anchor, announced on Tuesday that her family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that could help find her mother, who has been missing for 24 days. Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, and the case has left both the family and the nation searching for answers.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Guthrie expressed the pain her family is experiencing. She admitted that the harsh reality is that her mother might not be alive, making this situation even more heartbreaking as time goes on.

“We know that she may be lost,” she shared, fighting back tears. “She may already be gone.” However, Guthrie emphasized that her family is in need of closure and is desperate to bring their mother home.

To that end, she stated, “We are offering a family reward of up to one million dollars for any information that leads us to her recovery.” She urged anyone who might have information to come forward, saying, “Somebody knows something that can bring her home.” Additionally, federal investigators have offered a $100,000 reward for tips that could lead to Nancy’s location or the identification of those responsible for her disappearance.

As the search continues, the family holds onto hope for a resolution in this tragic situation.
