New Character Posters Unveiled for The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond
The creators of The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond have just released character posters featuring the film’s leading actresses: Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha, and Aditi Bhatia. These visuals offer a first look at the characters, building excitement as the film’s release approaches.
The newly released posters showcase striking close-ups of the actresses. Half of their faces are covered by a burqa, while the other half displays marked bruises and tear-streaked expressions. This imagery conveys a sense of emotional and physical hardship, hinting at the challenges their characters will face in the story.
While sharing the posters on social media, the creators opted to focus on the visuals rather than revealing any plot details, keeping the audience guessing.
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, a recipient of the National Award, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond continues the narrative established in the first film. The sequel centers on three Hindu women whose lives take a dark turn when they form relationships that lead to a complex scheme involving religious conversion.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and co-produced by Aashin A Shah through Sunshine Pictures, this sequel follows the thought-provoking discussions sparked by the 2023 film The Kerala Story.
With the release of the character posters, the promotional campaign for the film has begun, although key storytelling elements remain under wraps. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026.
