Prime Minister Modi Receives Warm Welcome in Oman
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly greeted by the Indian community in Muscat, Oman, where crowds gathered outside his hotel, waving Indian flags and chanting patriotic songs. During his visit, he took time to connect with members of the Indian diaspora and enjoyed cultural performances organized in his honor.
This visit marks the last stop on his three-nation tour. Upon his arrival in Muscat, the Prime Minister was welcomed at the airport by Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, along with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
PM Modi took to social media to describe Oman as a country of lasting friendship and deep historical ties with India. He expressed hope that his visit would enhance cooperation between the two nations. This trip is particularly special as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Oman, showing the growing strategic and political bonds between the two countries.
