BEIRUT: On Sunday, Lebanon’s health ministry reported that recent Israeli airstrikes in the southern and eastern parts of the country have claimed three lives, despite a ceasefire agreement currently in place. Israeli officials stated that the strikes targeted two members of Hezbollah.
Authorities indicated that one person was killed when an Israeli strike hit a car in Naqoura, located in the Tyre region. Another fatal strike occurred in Nabi Sheet, in eastern Baalbek, where a vehicle was targeted. Additionally, the health ministry confirmed that a subsequent attack in the town of al-Hafir resulted in the death of a Syrian national and left another Syrian injured.
