Exciting New Experiences at The Tech Interactive This Fall
San Jose, CA, Oct. 23, 2025 — The Tech Interactive, a leading science and technology center in Silicon Valley, is ready to welcome visitors for a fun-filled fall season. With new exhibits, dazzling laser shows, and family-friendly activities, The Tech is the perfect spot for hands-on learning and exploration.
New Exhibits: Innovation in Bloom and Climate Quest
Recently, The Tech introduced two exciting new exhibits aimed at inspiring creativity and addressing important environmental issues. The grand opening took place on Oct. 18, with California Senator Dave Cortese joining in the celebration.
Innovation in Bloom is an interactive, two-story exhibit where visitors can launch balls into the air and watch them race through colorful tubes alongside local wildlife. Guests can also create their own ball tracks, encouraging collaboration and imagination.
Alongside this, Climate Quest invites players to make impactful daily choices about food, water, and wildlife through arcade-style gaming. Inspired by local youth climate initiatives, this game teaches players how small actions can contribute to the fight against climate change, empowering them to make a difference in their communities.
“These exhibits reflect our spirit of curiosity and hope,” said Erica Barreto, Vice President of Exhibits at The Tech Interactive. “They show that play and exploration can lead to meaningful ideas.”
Brilliant Laser Shows at The Tech
The fun doesn’t stop there! The Tech’s IMAX Dome Theater now features LASERS! at The Tech, a new and permanent series of spectacular laser shows. This stunning visual experience combines music with vibrant laser displays, showcasing popular artists like Taylor Swift and Daft Punk.
“It brings a fresh wave of creativity and fun to our Dome theater,” commented Natalie Alvanez-Taylor, Vice President of Engagement at The Tech Interactive.

As Halloween approaches, The Tech will host Tech or Treat on Oct. 25, offering a day full of safe and exciting Halloween-themed activities. Families can enjoy trick-or-treating, the Mad Scientist Lab, and spooky science workshops.
