In the match, Nepal posted a total of 122 runs, while the West Indies easily chased down that target, scoring 123 runs without losing a wicket and achieving victory with 7.4 overs to spare.
Nepal started strong, being 84-3 at one point, but then experienced a dramatic collapse, losing seven wickets in just six overs. The run out of Gulsan Jha was a major turning point, and left-arm bowler Ramon Simmonds made an impact with figures of 4 wickets for just 15 runs in three overs.
Amir Jangoo led the West Indies with an impressive unbeaten 74 off 45 balls in his third T20 match, while Ackeem Auguste contributed 41 not out off 29 balls. Together, they struck a total of eight sixes and nine boundaries.
Reflecting on the series, Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel expressed hope that the experience would boost the team’s confidence as they prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The Asia and East Asia Pacific qualifier for the 2026 T20 World Cup is set to begin on October 8 in Al Amarat, Oman.
