Salman Khan Faces Death Threats; Mumbai Cops Investigate Rs 5 Crore Extortion Scandal

In the shadowy aftermath of the shocking assassination of political figure Baba Siddique, the atmosphere has grown tense, particularly for Bollywood luminary Salman Khan. His world, usually filled with the glitz and glamour of the film industry, has now been punctuated by a chilling death threat that has sent ripples through the security apparatus — a threat reportedly communicated to the Mumbai Traffic Police via a WhatsApp message. The ominous message demanded an exorbitant ransom of Rs 5 crore, hinting at catastrophic consequences for Salman should he fail to comply.

Amidst all this, the Mumbai Police have, for now, dismissed the threat as mere child’s play — a ‘prank’ — despite the gravity of the language used. The sender ominously warned that Salman’s fate would be far grimmer than that of the recently slain NCP leader, Baba Siddique. Intriguingly, the menacing message also made a nod to Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gang figure who has been entwined in similar threats against Salman in times past.

While authorities initially brushed off the communication as a prank, they are not taking this situation lightly. A dedicated probe has been launched to unearth the identity of the individual behind the dubious missive. Police officials have assured that they are examining this matter with utmost seriousness, exploring every avenue in their quest for the truth. Recent police reports indicate that there might have been a more sinister strategy orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which could pose a legitimate threat to Salman’s life.

For those unacquainted, it’s worth noting that the slain politician, Baba Siddique, was gunned down in a brazen act of violence in Bandra, Mumbai, right outside his son’s office — a tragedy that prompted immediate law enforcement actions, resulting in four arrests. Siddique’s family shared a deep-rooted relationship with Salman, accentuating the personal stakes involved in this unsettling scenario.

As the police piece together the puzzle, their investigation seeks to establish any tangible connections between Lawrence Bishnoi’s past threats and the present crisis. Meanwhile, heightened security measures envelop Salman Khan, as the industry holds its breath amid the unsettling reality that envelopes one of its most beloved stars.
