IPL Chairman Responds to Tragic Incident During RCB Celebration

In a recent statement, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal expressed sorrow over a tragic incident that occurred during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) victory celebration in Bengaluru. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the stampede.

Dhumal described the situation as unfortunate, noting, "It is sad and tragic. What started as a celebration turned into a tragedy. Our deepest sympathies go out to those who lost their loved ones."

He further emphasized that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was unaware of the celebrations taking place. "The IPL concluded last night, and we had no information about such an event occurring. Therefore, it is difficult for us to take responsibility," Dhumal added.
