Could Urvil Patel Be the Next Wicketkeeper for CSK? Assistant Coach Sriram Weighs In

CSK assistant coach Sridharan Sriram recently shared his thoughts on Urvil Patel, the new wicketkeeper for the Chennai Super Kings. Although Urvil has shown great promise in his early games, Sriram believes it’s too soon to determine if he is being prepared to take over from the legendary MS Dhoni.

Sriram praised Urvil as a talented player, saying, “He has great skills, quick reflexes, and his experience as a keeper is a big advantage. While it’s still early to talk about him as Dhoni’s successor, he certainly brings a lot to the team as a batsman. With just two matches under his belt, we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but we recognize his potential and the bright future that lies ahead for him.”
