Breaking News: AAP Councillors Leave to Form New Party

In a surprising turn of events, several councillors from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have decided to resign and launch a new political group named the Indraprastha Vikas Party. The new party will be led by Hemchand Goel, and it includes notable former AAP members such as Mukesh Goel, Himani Jain, and Ashok Pandey.

Mukesh Goel shared his thoughts on the split, stating, "We will sit in opposition and focus on people’s voices and local development. We are committed to promoting our new party and will not align with the BJP. We’re hopeful that other leaders will join us."

Himani Jain emphasized her dissatisfaction with the AAP’s performance over the last two and a half years. She noted, "Despite being in power, we didn’t accomplish any work. We started this party because we want to prioritize the development of Delhi. As of now, 15 councillors have resigned, and we expect more to follow."

Ashok Pandey, a councillor from Vikas Nagar, expressed frustration that necessary development work for their areas was not being done. "We faced many issues, including garbage and drainage problems. We attempted to reach out to AAP’s leadership for support, but there was no action taken," he said.

This new political movement marks a significant shift in local politics, and its leaders are eager to create a new path for development in Delhi.
