Ravneet Duggal Champions Women’s Health and Community Engagement after Pageant Success
Vancouver, Canada, October 8 – Ravneet Duggal, who recently earned the title of Mrs. India Worldwide 1st Runner-Up 2026, met with Masakui Rungsung, the Consul General of India in Vancouver. Their conversation focused on Ravneet’s journey, her ties to her Indian heritage, and how she can give back to the Indian community in Canada.
During their meeting, Ravneet celebrated her pageant success while also addressing critical issues affecting women today. Topics included women’s empowerment, female fertility, hormonal health, community involvement, and the experiences of Indian women living abroad.
As an immigrant who has established herself in Canada, Ravneet emphasized the significance of staying connected to her Indian roots while actively contributing to Canadian society. A major part of their discussion revolved around women’s health, particularly in the areas of fertility and hormonal balance. This topic holds personal significance for Ravneet, as she founded the Fertility Circle Community to heighten awareness and create supportive discussions around these challenges.
Ravneet pointed out the need for more honest conversations about fertility and hormonal health, specifically within South Asian communities, where such topics can often be difficult to address openly. She envisions building a nurturing environment where women feel empowered to discuss their health issues and make informed choices.
Mr. Rungsung expressed his support for Ravneet’s initiative, reinforcing the importance of addressing women’s health concerns in the community. This acknowledgment was especially meaningful for her and strengthened her mission.
“Women’s empowerment extends beyond accolades at events,” Ravneet stated. “It’s about equipping women with the knowledge and support needed to discuss important issues affecting their lives, families, and futures, including fertility and hormonal health.”
They also explored ways Ravneet could further assist the Indian community in Canada. She is enthusiastic about leveraging her platform and professional experiences to support community initiatives and the Consulate’s efforts in the future.
Ravneet’s recent achievement has boosted her visibility as an advocate for Indian women. Winning the pageant signifies more than just a title—it represents her commitment to bridging her Indian heritage with her life in Canada. “Moving to Canada didn’t mean leaving my culture behind,” she explained. “I aim to celebrate my roots while making meaningful contributions to my community here.”
In addition, Ravneet shared her vision for empowering women. She encourages them to pursue their dreams, embrace their identities, and feel confident in their choices, without having to choose between their cultural background and their Canadian identity.
With her background as an Enterprise Risk Manager in Canada’s financial sector, alongside her advocacy work, Ravneet brings a unique perspective to her efforts. Her focus on women’s health, particularly in fertility and hormonal issues, underscores her dedication to raising awareness and support within immigrant and multicultural communities.
The meeting with Consul General Rungsung marks a pivotal step in Ravneet’s mission to broaden her impact and engage with the Indian-Canadian community. “I truly appreciate the chance to share my story and discuss subjects that are close to my heart with the Consul General,” she remarked. “His support for the topic of women’s health is invaluable to me, and I look forward to actively contributing to initiatives that uplift Indian women.”
For Ravneet, winning the crown is just a beginning; her greater goal is to utilize her platform, expertise, and community ties to spark dialogue, foster connections, and empower women. “While the crown represents a milestone, the real journey is just starting,” she concluded.
