Gauahar Khan has recently sold her duplex apartment in Versova, Mumbai, for Rs 6.01 crores, as per property registration records. She initially bought the apartment in November 2014 for Rs 3.2 crores, which shows a significant increase in value of about 88% over nearly 12 years.

The sale was officially registered on September 24, 2026. Located in the Versova Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., the duplex spans two floors and is situated on a higher floor of the building.

The apartment has a total super built-up area of 2,340 sq ft and a built-up area of 1,872 sq ft. However, the registration documents do not indicate whether car parking is part of this sale.

The total selling price of Rs 6.01 crores included a stamp duty fee of Rs 36.06 lakhs. This increase of Rs 2.81 crores in value since her initial purchase represents a notable appreciation. Based on this selling price, the cost per square foot amounts to about Rs 32,100 for the built-up area and approximately Rs 25,700 for the super built-up area.

The Versova area, along with nearby locations like Juhu, Lokhandwala, and Bandra, has seen several property transactions involving celebrities in recent times. For instance, in June 2024, actor Ronit Roy and his wife bought a 4,258 sq ft apartment in Lodha Versova for Rs 18.94 crores, which included four parking spaces. Additionally, actor Randeep Hooda acquired a 1,530 sq ft apartment in Bianca CHS, Versova, for Rs 5.63 crores in June 2025.

More recently, in July 2026, cricket star Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma purchased several apartments in Godrej Skyshore, Versova, for over Rs 43 crores.

This vibrant property market in Versova reflects the growing interest among film and television personalities in this upscale neighborhood.
