MedX Health Teams Up with Monaderm to Expand SkinSecure in Europe
MedX Health Corp. (TSXV: MDX), a company specializing in skin health analytics, has appointed Monaderm, a company based in Monaco that focuses on skin measurement, as a significant sales agent for its SkinSecure technology. This partnership will enhance the reach of MedX’s innovative skin measurement solutions across Europe, particularly in the cosmetics and skin research markets.
John Gevisser, CEO of MedX Health, shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Monaderm has been a reliable partner for years, supporting us with the SIAscope technology that is fundamental to SkinSecure. Their understanding of skin measurement and the complexities of testing product effectiveness is unmatched. With the shift of SkinSecure to a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, our data will be instantly available to sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) right at the moment of capture. This will allow for faster and more controlled multi-site trials than ever before.”
SkinSecure will be featured at the upcoming Cosmetic 360 event on October 14-15 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The event, organized by Cosmetic Valley, is a major global trade show for the cosmetics industry, where leaders will gather to discover new technologies and innovations that are shaping the future of beauty.
Advancing Skin Measurement for Cosmetic Research
This new agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between MedX and Monaderm, who have collaborated on the SIAscope technology, which is at the core of SkinSecure. With over 30 years of experience, Monaderm has been instrumental in aiding organizations in the cosmetics and dermatology sectors to utilize effective measurement technologies for assessing skin health and proving product effectiveness.
SkinSecure is a cloud-based platform that connects MedX’s SIAscope imaging devices to research workflows. By capturing data in a non-invasive manner, the technology maps collagen, melanin, and hemoglobin in real-time, allowing researchers to monitor biological changes over time. This innovative approach provides immediate data visibility across various study sites, enhancing collaboration in research efforts.
For cosmetic brands and their research, SkinSecure offers a scientific approach that complements traditional subjective assessments, providing valuable longitudinal data that supports product claims.
Bringing Innovative Technology to Cosmetic 360
At the Cosmetic 360 event, visitors will have the opportunity to see SkinSecure and SIAscope V-CRE technology in action, exploring how these advancements can elevate cosmetic efficacy testing and skin research.
Marc Bruzzone, Associate Director of Monaderm, expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with MedX and present SkinSecure to the European cosmetics and skin research community. The benefits of objective, non-invasive skin measurement are clear, and SkinSecure represents a significant advancement in this area.”
MedX Health also plans to unveil a new addition to its skin research offerings during the Cosmetic 360 event, with further announcements expected.
“Paris serves as the perfect backdrop for us,” said Gevisser. “It’s not just about making announcements; it’s an opportunity for researchers and beauty innovators to witness the technology firsthand and engage in discussions about the exciting possibilities that arise from accurately measuring changes beneath the skin’s surface.”
