Indore: Rahul Gandhi Speaks on the Role of Students in Challenging the System
On Saturday, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi addressed a gathering of students in Indore during an event called ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’. He expressed his concerns about the influence of top politicians from the BJP and powerful businessmen who he believes have a tight grip on the governance of the country.
Gandhi emphasized that the current system feels threatened by students who question authority and seek truth. He stated, “The system is afraid of students because they are not afraid to ask questions. Instead of embracing their curiosity, the system wishes for ‘andh bhakts’—blind followers who do not think for themselves.”
During his speech, Rahul described students as symbols of curiosity and positive values such as love, humility, and courage. Conversely, he criticized those who blindly follow the system, calling them “delusional, hateful, and arrogant.”
In addition, Gandhi took the opportunity to criticize National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, accusing him of facilitating government surveillance on citizens. He argued that this transparency invasion is aimed at maintaining control over the population.
