China’s Foreign Minister Pledges Support for Iran’s Rights

China Supports Iran’s Rights Amid US Tensions

Beijing – In a recent meeting, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed China’s commitment to protect Iran’s rights while discussing the ongoing tensions between Tehran and Washington. Wang met with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in the Chinese capital on Wednesday.

During their conversation, Wang emphasized China’s willingness to enhance dialogue and collaboration with Iran. He stated that China aims to “safeguard Iran’s legitimate rights and interests.”

Wang also encouraged both Iran and the United States to approach the situation with reason and restraint, highlighting China’s role in promoting stability in the region.
