During an interview with David Faber, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky shared his thoughts on AI, stating that the technology isn’t inherently good or bad; rather, its impact depends on how it is used by people.
“I’m not sure if I’m right, and I can’t guarantee that the outcome will be positive. However, I believe it has great potential,” Chesky remarked. He compared AI to nuclear power, noting that it has the capacity to either illuminate a city or cause destruction.
Chesky also shared his vision of a “cognitive revolution,” where AI can enhance human intelligence. He emphasized the importance of reminding people of their value in society, suggesting that rather than being overwhelmed by AI advancements, individuals should learn to adapt and thrive alongside the technology.
