Expanding Global Horizons for “Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam”

The first part of the “Krishnavataram” trilogy, titled “Hridayam,” is set to broaden its international appeal thanks to a partnership between Creativeland Studios and the World Forum for Art and Culture (WFAC). This collaboration was officially announced on Janmashtami, in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of The Art of Living.

As part of this agreement, an official memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed, allowing Gurudev to guide the film team in showcasing the movie on a global scale while also shaping the larger trilogy narrative.

The immediate goal of this partnership is to bring “Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam” to audiences around the world through a more extensive theatrical release. The film aims to resonate with Indian communities abroad and will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar shared insights about the film’s vision, emphasizing that “Krishna signifies the irresistible force of divinity. When one understands that life is a divine play, that’s when Krishna takes birth within.”

Producer Dr. Sajan Raj Kurup expressed optimism about this collaboration, noting that it will aid in sharing the film’s cultural narratives with viewers outside India. He said, “With the support of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who has uplifted millions globally, this film represents a great honor. With ‘Krishnavataram,’ we are proud to spread Indian culture and values worldwide, aiming to build a global movement that celebrates art and legacy.”

Beyond just the film, the partnership aims to develop various formats including series, music, live performances, games, and educational initiatives. WFAC, founded in September 2020, seeks to unite artists and art lovers globally, following Gurudev’s vision of a “One World Family.”

The collaboration aspires to explore Krishna’s stories through diverse modern artistic expressions, all while staying true to Indian traditions. The forthcoming international release of “Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam” marks the beginning of this exciting initiative, as the team continues to work on the remaining parts of the trilogy.
