Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, is currently in India, where she clarified the purpose of her press conferences and meetings with her Awami League party members. She emphasized that these activities were not intended to create any strain between India and Bangladesh.
In a recent interview, Hasina expressed her belief that she has every right to engage in discussions and hold press conferences while abroad. She noted that she does not think her actions are influential enough to jeopardize the positive relationship between the two nations.
Despite her current stay in India, Hasina reiterated her desire to return to Bangladesh. She confirmed that she is prepared to resign if her party requests it, showing her commitment to her party and the people of Bangladesh.
