In a fun twist on using technology, a man from Goa has demonstrated how artificial intelligence can help tackle everyday challenges. Shubhang Borkar found himself facing a common dilemma: losing his shoes among a massive pile of footwear outside the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

In an innovative attempt to find his missing clogs, Shubhang turned his phone into a scanning tool, employing the help of ChatGPT. He began by taking photos of the various shoes surrounding him and shared them with the AI chatbot, hoping it would recognize his lost pair.

Just four days ago, Shubhang shared a video of his clever AI experiment on Instagram, titled “Used ChatGPT to find my lost clogs.” In it, he humorously labeled himself as a “hacker on weekdays (cybersec), explorer on weekends,” showcasing his tech-savvy side.

The video captures his struggle as he films the crowded shoe racks, demonstrating how challenging it was to pick out his shoes. He then opened ChatGPT, uploading images of his clogs and another picture showing what they looked like.

Explaining his situation, Shubhang informed the chatbot that he was at the Mahakal Temple and needed help finding his lost shoes among all the footwear left outside. As he continued his search, he took pictures of different sections of the racks, allowing ChatGPT to analyze them for a match.

After reviewing the images, the AI tool finally guided him toward the correct pair of shoes. The video illustrates how a frustrating search in a crowded temple transformed into an exciting example of how AI can be used in real life.

Shubhang’s experience not only highlights the innovative ways people are using AI but also serves as a lighthearted reminder of the little challenges we all face.
