Lalit Modi, the founder of the Indian Premier League (IPL), has firmly denied reports suggesting he would be joining the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 20. In response to these claims, he has issued a legal notice to various publications and social media outlets that reported the story.
Modi took to social media Saturday morning to set the record straight, stating that he hasn’t been approached for Bigg Boss 20 and has no plans to participate. In his post, he emphasized, “FAKE NEWS. PERIOD. I have NOT been approached for Bigg Boss 20. I am NOT participating in Bigg Boss 20. And I have NO intention of doing so.” He expressed his surprise that such a fabricated story could be circulated without any verification from him.
Alongside his declaration, Modi shared details of the legal notice from his lawyers, warning those responsible for spreading the false information. He urged them to verify their facts before publishing such claims in the future.
The legal notice described the reports about Modi’s potential participation as “false, baseless, and mischievous.” It clarified that no one associated with the show, including producers or broadcasters, had contacted Modi regarding involvement in Bigg Boss 20.
Amid this confusion, excitement for the 20th season of Bigg Boss continues to grow. Salman Khan is set to return as the host, with the season premiering on September 6 on JioHotstar and Colors. The first trailer has hinted at some new twists this season, including an additional lifeline for contestants known as ‘jeevan daan.’
As Bigg Boss 20 approaches, fans are eagerly waiting to see what surprises the new season will bring.
